Young Artist Workshop at Moore – Digital Photography Class

During a week long summer workshop, 7th and 8th grade students enrolled in the Young Artist Workshop digital photography course at Moore College of Art and Design took these amazing photographs. Each day we discussed photographic techniques and then went out “shooting” in downtown Philadelphia. We focused on extreme close ups, interesting compositions, alternate points of view, unusual angles, focal points, and capturing the moment.  Assignments included street photography, using the macro (close up) setting, playing with perspective, and creative self portraiture. Images were edited in I-Photo and in Photoshop.
